Fantasy football tips for Week 8.
Week in review
The Dolphins were the cure for what ailed the Ravens. Sadly no one on either of these teams is a consistent fantasy starter. Speaking of, the Titans are 6-0, with no consistent fantasy stars. Just happens that way sometimes.
The Bears can score some points when they put their minds to it. The Browns D is actually OK. It's the O that's killing fantasy owners.
Who to Start
It's probably safe to start all Redskins against Detroit. Ditto the Jets' QB Brett Favre, WR Laveranues Coles and RB Thomas Jones against KC.
It's a long way to London for the Saints and Chargers. Both offenses disappointed last week, and this isn't the ideal situation for a turnaround. You gotta stick with your Colts. They're too good to play this bad.
Look for a high-scoring game between the Eagles and Falcons, but which Eagle, besides QB Donovan McNabb, will benefit? Looks like RB Brian Westbrook will be back. QB Jake Delhomme may have a little rougher time versus a decent Cardinal defense, but it's not a terrible matchup either.
QB Matt Cassel looked good against the Broncos, and should do well against the Rams at home.
Waiver Wire Watch
Dolphins QB Chad Pennington hasn't settled on a favorite target. Maybe it's WR Greg Camarillo?
Looking for a QB? Slim pickins. Marc Bulger may be tempting. He was once an elite signal caller, but he plays the Patriots in Foxboro this week. QB J.T. O'Sullivan may be available in your league, and he could put up some nice numbers at home against a hapless Seattle Seahawks team.
RB Sammy Morris looks to be the guy in New England after Laurence Maroney went on injured reserve. Get him while he's hot.
