Welcome to Sensory Overload's latest feature, What To Do Tonight. I think it's pretty self-explanatory.

•If you're looking for live music, join Cloud Cult at the Basement. John Ross had good things to say about the Minneapolis band's latest CD. The show is $10, doors open at 7 p.m. and opener Jeff D. Johnson begins at 8.

•Staying in? Sports fans will no doubt be glad to see the return of Monday Night Football with an opening-week doubleheader on ESPN. Cincinnati hosts Baltimore at 7 p.m. with Arizona at San Francisco to follow at 10:15.

•TNT's immensely successful The Closer wraps up its third season tonight at 9 p.m. I haven't seen the show, but my parents give it high marks, for what it's worth.

•Showtime's Weeds, on the other hand, is just getting to into the swing of its new season. When we last left Nancy Botwin, she was wearing her trademark flustered expression and half-heartedly trying to stop her son Silas from helping her sell off her pot stash. Curious to see what plays out with Andy's army storyline too.
