What's going on tonight? Akron/Family at Wexner Center should be crazy. Check my preview to find out why. Support comes from Greg Davis and the much-heralded Megafaun.

Also, the RTFO Bandwagon has a CD release show tonight at Cafe Bourbon Street, 2216 Summit St. They were this mysterious new band from out of nowhere on this year's Comfest schedule, but from the sounds of it, they're going to have some staying power. The Black Swans, Psychedelic Horsesh** and Marie Corbo round out that lineup.

Might as well at least mention it: Carabar is hosting Brian Jonestown Massacre on Saturday night. We didn't write anything in print because they're trying to keep the show fairly low key with such a high-profile band playing such a small space. As with all Carabar shows, it's free, but you need to go to the bar today to get a ticket to get in tomorrow. With support from Brainbow and El Jesus de Magico, it's going to be a seriously awesome night of music if you can stand the crowd.
