Not much on the rock front tonight. The Main Street Gospel has another free show at Skully's, this time with Woosley Band and TV Eye. That one'll start around 10 p.m.

And if you are 12, you might be going to that Miley Cyrus thing. But I'm guessing none of my readers are 12. (Prove me wrong, 12-year-olds!)

What about TV? Life on Mars kicks off its second and final season at 8 p.m. on BBC America. Per EW, the series is "about detective Sam (John Simm), who, after a hit-and-run, wakes up in 1973."

Nip/Tuck (10 p.m., FX) is on too, but it's gotten so bad that I wish I hadn't heralded the first couple episodes of this season as a return to form. Sullied!
