Tonight begins a three-night run of solid local rock shows at Cafe Bourbon Street, 2216 Summit St. The Peeper's Feast is a series of concerts put together by Dave Highben, proprietor of Mr. Peeper's Pizzas, the pizza shop that took over Taco Ninja's old space at the front of the bar. Friday's lineup is the most impressive (talk about Bobo all-stars), but tonight's slate sounds like an ideal destination for fans of Detroit proto-punk, thrash and lo-fi. Penetrators, Statutory Ape, Motovirus and Marvin the Robot complete the Thursday night bill.

On TV, the last pre-strike 30 Rock (8:30 p.m., NBC) episode airs. It's a Christmas special, and it features Andy Richter as Liz Lemon's brother. Peep the photo. Should be great.

Then NBC is giving us more Tina Fey, paired with former partner in crime Jimmy Fallon, for Saturday Night Live Christmas (9:30 p.m., NBC), a 90-minute roundup of the show's best Christmas sketches.

Once again I'm taking Friday off (I knew I should have burned those vacation days more effectively), but I hope to chime in with something else here before the weekend hits. Stay tuned.
