I wish I had a big Monday rock show to direct you toward tonight, but we're still feeling the effects of a bland January concert calendar. Instead, you just get TV picks, and in this strike-halted season, even those pickins' are slim.

If you enjoyed last night's premiere, tune in for the second episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (9 p.m., FOX). As I wrote in this week's paper, the show ain't anything special, but it's good fun to fill in designated TV time for now. It gets my unenthusiastic endorsement.

Immediately before that, Prison Break (8 p.m., FOX) returns for a five-episode run. Meanwhile, the newfangled American Gladiators (8 p.m., NBC), which I will be gorging on in order to write up a review for next week, airs once more this evening.

One other thing you might consider is attending the 10 Items or Less premiere party at Hills Market, 7860 Olentangy River Rd. Yeah, I trashed the show in print, but it sounds like the party could be fun. It runs from 6-9 p.m.
