Two excellent rock shows tonight feature splendid touring acts and a fine slate of locals. Consider the free concert at Skully's, 1151 N. High St., featuring Seattle indie pop greats Say Hi (formerly Say Hi To Your Mom) plus The Black Canary, shitgaze progenitors Pink Reason and many-membered Dayton experimental folk act Sleepybird. These are bands I wouldn't necessarily expect to play together, but I like it—the kind of show Carma has been setting up a lot lately. Music should start around 9 p.m.

Over at Cafe Bourbon Street, 2216 Summit St., it's straight punk tonight. Local masters of the art The Feelers will join Detroit's Terrible Twos in one of the raunchiest rock shows in a while. Also, DJ Powerkraut will be spinning records, including new, unreleased material from Columbus Discount Records. This shindig gets going around 10 p.m.

On TV, there's some debate tonight (9 p.m., NBC), plus the return of that Kelsey Grammar show Back To You (9:30 p.m., FOX) and a Primetime special called "What Would You Do?" (10 p.m., ABC) which unfortunately is not a throwback to the Nickelodeon game show of the same name.
