I mean of course you're going to watch Lost (9 p.m., ABC), but maybe you want to set the DVR and save it for after one of these great live music options:
•Pharrell (pictured) and his vanity project-turned-actually decent band N.E.R.D. will rock Newport Music Hall, 1722 N. High St. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets cost $25 and no opener is listed, so who knows what's going down. Read my preview for more on this show.
•Cheveu has been hailed as one of the most astounding live acts on the planet. You'll have tge chance to find out when the French synth-skuzz act arrives tonight at Cafe Bourbon Street, 2216 Summit St. This is also a "SXSW money shot" for CDR bands Guinea Worms, Night of Pleasure and Necropolis, so show up to help get them to Austin. Check out this preview for more.
•Boston hair metal choir Bang Camaro plays Ravari Room, 2657 N. High St. Apparently the Guitar Hero people are trying to use the game to break this band. Attendance will also allow you to witness sets from locals The Slide Machine and Penetrators (now known simply as PenetratoR). A tad more analysis can be found in this super-short preview.
