House (9 p.m., FOX) makes its return tonight, while Carrie Fischer shows up for a Star Wars-themed Deal or No Deal (8 p.m., NBC). Not a spectacular night on the TV front.

The live music slate is better, with a few local bands I've been meaning to check out scheduled to appear. All these shows should start around 10 p.m.: Trains Across the Sea, a Silver Jews-inspired folk rock project, will play at Bernie's, 1896 N. High St. Marseille Marseille, an offshoot of Vietnam II, is set for Skully's, 1151 N. High St. True Moves, a smoky blues rock combo featuring the likes of Eric Wrong and Bob Starker, plays Carabar, 115 Parsons Ave., with weirdo Bostonians Ho-Ag, featuring former Columbus resident Tyler Derryberry of Rancid Yak Butter Tea Party.
