This weekend might be your last chance to see the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. A tight budget and the resulting labor dispute could be the death blow for the classical ensemble, so if you ever thought about a night out at the symphony, don't wait. Performances are scheduled for tonight and tomorrow; tickets are still available here.

Now to move 180 degrees away, I should mention that Rick Ross, the rotund gentleman pictured above, is coming to LC Pavilion tonight. He'll be joined by the likes of Gucci Mane, Yavin and more. There's no way this show will be worth $35 for lawn tickets, but if you can finagle your way in for free or on the cheap, I bet it'll be a blast. Doors open at 7 p.m. Check my preview for more.

There are local CD release shows for Fatkid Dodgeball, The Hot Damn and Middle Child.

The big movie of the weekend is Sex and the City, while TV's top premiere is USA's "breezy" new witness protection drama In Plain Sight, which airs at 10 p.m. Sunday.
