Comic extraordinaire Eddie Izzard hits the Palace Theatre, 34 W. Broad St., at 8 this evening. Check out my preview then figure out how to get ahold of tickets for this sold-out shindig.

If you can't score Izzard tickets, you should probably enjoy this fine weather out on one of Columbus' many fine patios. but if you insist on staying in, consider these sorta OK televised options: ESPN2 presents The Zen of Bobby V., a documentary about former Mets manager Bobby Valentine, at 9 p.m. For those Angie Harmon fans out there, tonight's season finale is your last chance to watch Women's Murder Club (10 p.m., ABC). The show has been canceled. Beauty and the Geek (8 p.m., The CW) also wraps up its season. For the sports fans among you, the NBA Playoffs continue with a pair of game 5s on TNT: Orlando-Detroit at 7 p.m. and San Antonio-New Orleans at 9:30. And there's always Deadliest Catch (9 p.m., Discovery).
