After the glut of good shows over the last few days, it's disappointing to report that there isn't much live music to gush over on tonight's docket. But that doesn't mean there's nothing fun to do out and about in the chill of late October. Check out the following stuff I found from perusing Alive's new online calendar system:
How about Haunted Columbus' Best of 20 Years Bus Tour? Simply meet at the Columbus Landmarks Foundation, 61 Jefferson Ave., and you'll be whisked away on a 2 1/2 hour trip through and around Downtown's most ghoulish locations. Sounds like fun.
Or perhaps you'd like to learn ballroom dancing? A 7-week class begins at 7 tonight at Studio Baila, 55 E. Spring St.
Maybe Nicole Hollander's visit to the Wexner Center, 1871 N. High St., suits your fancy. The cartoonist behind the daily strip Sylvia will discuss "her humorous and very personal reflection on the realities of aging," entitled Tales of Graceful Aging from the Planet Denial. This one also starts at 7 p.m. and is free.
There's much more in there, so stop in and click around.
