Just when I thought there wasn't any notable live music happening tonight, along comes Jonathan Hape. The softspoken singer-songwriter (pictured at right, looking very Billy Corganesque) will unveil songs from his forthcoming LP, Carnivore, during the open stage at Victorian's Midnight Cafe, 251 W. 5th Ave. Brandon Neal of And They Said No will play at 9:20 p.m., then he'll sit in for Hape's set at 9:40. Tomorrow Hape and Neal shove off for a week of Southern and Midwest tour dates, so this doubles as a send-off of sorts.

Also, The Office (9 p.m., NBC) and 30 Rock (9:30 p.m., NBC) have been back for a couple weeks now; better be watching!
