Clearly the best thing you could do with your night would be to tune in to CD101's Independent Playground at 11 p.m. and listen to me (and possibly John Ross?) blabbing about/playing songs by this year's Bands to Watch. We'll be on 101.1 FM some time during the first hour of Tom Butler's show, which continues to be a beacon of radio goodness every Sunday and Thursday. (I'll also be on QFM's Wags & Elliott at about 9:20 this morning, in case you happen to read this in the next hour. That's 96.3 FM.)

Assuming enough snow has been cleared off the roads that you'd want to drive somewhere, you could do worse than Innerpartysystem, who'll bring their dancy rock and fancy light show to The Basement, 391 Neil Ave. It's one of those CD101 Low Dough Shows, so it costs $5. Doors open at 7 p.m., and openers include Paper Route and Sonny.
