The Summit, 2210 Summit St., offers the night's best live music option with a diverse bill of local bands that stretches from folk to psych to reggae-infused rock to indie Americana. The culprits in question include, respectively, Curtis Cole, TV Eye, Andy Shaw Band and The Lost Revival. This will undoubtedly be a $5, 10 p.m. affair, so show up accordingly.
Also, the very NPR-friendly ensemble Po' Girl will be up the street at Rumba Cafe, 2507 Summit St.
EDIT: How could I have forgotten The Goodnight Loving at Cafe Bourbon Street, 2216 Summit St., which I previewed in today's paper?
