Greg Ginn returns to Columbus tonight. Last year, the former Black Flag guitarist played Bourbon Street with Jambang, one of the numerous ensembles he fronts these days. This time Ginn, who has moved in a disturbingly jammy direction in recent years, will be backed by a "country-style rhythm and swing band" called The Taylor Texas Corrugators at Bernie's, 1896 N. High St. Also on the bill is Lydia Loveless, the ex-Carson Drew power popper-turned-sullen country songstress, creating a nice old dude-young gal duality. Resident punks The Damn Yous will play too. They have decidedly not gone country.
