Clark's Dining Room, a comfort-food destination in central Ohio for decades, will close later this fall.
Clark's didn't have a menu until recently. Customers would be asked whether they wanted chicken, ham or steak.
The star of the show was the chicken dinner, which always included four pieces of skillet-fried chicken, vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a slice of pie. It was priced at $9 when Clark took on the restaurant in 1987, and it now costs only $13.
