We got our first look at the menu for Burgers, Dogs and Fries, the newest Downtown lunch spot from the owners of Cafe Lola and Cinco, and it looks as straightforward and delicious as promised!
Among the highlights: A BBQ & Bacon Burger topped with house-made slaw and cheese (available with a single patty, a double or the three-patty BillyBob size); a Nacho Dog topped with chili, spicy cheese sauce, jalapenos and nacho chips; and a plain hot dog for a dirt-cheap $1.85. Besides the "old-school" crinkle cut fries, sides include slaw, baked beans and chips.
Plus, order your dog "Golly Gee Style" and they'll drop it in the fryer. Oh man.
The folks at Lola tell us Burgers, Dogs & Fries should be open in about two weeks. Look for it in the former Original Soupman spot near the corner of High and Broad.
