Danger Mouse and James Mercer
What a strange day in the world of musical collaborations! Danger Mouse is partnering with The Shins' James Mercer for a new project called Broken Bells. In much more bizarre news, Thom Yorke put together a band for his solo stuff including Flea on bass. Flea! Also on board: Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, Beck drummer Joey Waronker and percussionist/multi-instrumentalist Mauro Refosco. Looking forward to hearing all this stuff.
Not so much looking forward to Lil Wayne's verse on a new Weezer song. Weezy + Weezer? I think I'll just stick with Pinkerton and Da Drought 3, thanks.
