Artist: Eric Nassau Song: "Big Water"
Eric Nassau has plenty of impressive credentials: One of this city's best folk-rock songwriters; one of our hardest-touring Columbus music ambassadors; one of the finest beards in the state of Ohio. He'll show off all these skills with a pair of shows Thursday and Friday in Grandview. Tonight he'll play The Treehouse, 887 Chambers Rd., with Megan Palmer and a Chicago bluegrass band called... wait for it... Sexfist! Friday finds him at Thirsty Ear Tavern, 1200 W. 3rd Ave., alongside Miss Molly and Joey Hebdo. With any luck, he'll bust out "Big Water," a melancholy rocker that was one of the best tracks on this year's What's Left of Empty Space. Listen at MySpace.
