The Madison Square Gardeners

The Madison Square Gardeners, a Brooklyn pop/Americana group dominated by ex-Ohioans, will play Rumba Cafe, 2507 Summit St., tonight at 9. Read much more on these guys in my preview. You're So Bossy opens the show, which will be pretty concise due to Jason Quicksall's weekly Cowtown Round songwriter series starting up around 11. Gardeners fans should note that the band's frontman, Aaron Lee Tasjan, will be one of Quicksall's featured artists tonight, so stick around for a double dose.

Over at The Treehouse, 887 Chambers Rd., The Hot Seats, formerly known as Special Ed and the Shortbus, will play their bluegrass ragtime hootenanny music with support from a fitting pair of locals: Dottie & Clyde and Trains Across the Sea. 10 p.m., $5.
