The Lions Rampant

Quick rundown of cool weekend events:

Start your Friday off right with a happy hour show at Rumba Cafe, 2507 Summit St., where Obviouslies and The Beatdowns are both releasing sweet new 7-inches. Starts around 6 p.m., over by 9.

2010 Band to Watch Saintseneca is also having a release party for "Grey Flag", which I reviewed here some time ago. Way Yes and Old Hundred will also play. This is a 6-9 deal like the Rumba show, only at Used Kids Records, 1980 N. High St.

Either one of those ought to give you plenty of time to get out and see The Lions Rampant and Moon High at Cafe Bourbon Street, 2216 Summit St.,

Of course, there are some other cool shows Friday night.

Saturday and Sunday gigs after the jump.
