In last week's paper I explained how sad-eyed Seattle songwriter Damien Jurado ended up producing the second solo LP by Columbus indie rocker Joel Walter. Both dudes will perform tonight at The Summit, 2210 Summit St., sandwiched around a set from another Seattle act, Kay Kay and his Weathered Underground, who'll also serve as Jurado's backing band. This will be $14 at the door, which opens at 9 p.m.
Also, "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert will continue to prove his pop superstardom with a sold-out show at LC Pavilion, 405 Neil Ave. I kind of dig the songs I heard from his debut "For Your Entertainment", and we already know he can deliver a killer performance, so he ought to live up to his album title tonight. Orianthi and fellow ex-Idol Allison Iraheta will open. Doors are at 6:30 p.m., and for any scalpers out there, face value is $35 per ticket.
