I've been loving "Louie," Louis CK's new show on FX, this summer, so I was thrilled to hear the news today that it's been renewed for a second season (at least according to a tweet from TV guru Mo Ryan).

Beyond extended snippets of CK's standup comedy, you get a slightly absurd but really freaking funny fictional take on the comic's real-life exploits -- everything from his crazy travels to his life as a newly single father. I also like that it feels like a more-accurate-than-most depiction of living in New York City.

Plus, it has one of the best theme songs/title sequences of all time! Definitely check it out. New episodes air at 11 p.m. on Tuesdays.
