You may have seen Nile Carpenter performing music around town with Afortiori and other acts. But not lately because a car accident recently sent Carpenter to the hospital with broken bones in both arms. The good news: He emerged fully healed with a new bionic elbow. The bad news: He has some serious medical bills to pay off. So tonight his friends in Lemia Belus, St. Moses the Black and Six Gallery (now featuring Carpenter's former Afortiori bandmate Daniel Erb on vocals) will play The Basement, 391 Neil Ave., to help him pay off those costs. 8 p.m., $5.
