Several groups, led by Teens Turning Green, have united to protest at A&F's flagship store in New York today. They argue the chain's locations spray dangerous amounts of its signature scent, Fierce. The cologne's chemicals hurt both the environment and shoppers, according to the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. It says there are chemicals in the scent that may harm male reproductive hormones. Ironic, as the fragrance bottle is the torso of a 16-pack manly man.

Abercrombie has responded that its chemical ratios fully comply with the International Fragrance Research Association standards.

You may remember this little bottle of controversy from about a year ago. The clothing company filed a complaint against Beyonce for trademark infringement when she tried to launch a perfume based on her alter ego Sasha Fierce.
