Prepping for Halloween EW has started another one of their pop culture brackets--this time matching cinema's all-time scary villains against one another. The bracket breaks in two 16-seeded categories (horror villains and drama villains). Voters will chooses the winners of each round until the Friday before Halloween when a winning killer will be chosen.
Some of the seeding is horribly wrong--Norman Bates ("Psycho") at 14, Alex DeLarge ("A Clockwork Orange") at 10--but it should make for some upsets. I just hope somebody knocks off number-one seeded Freddy Kruger early. He hasn't been scary since I was five. And, no Linda Blair?!
