"Undercovers" has been on the cancellation bubble watch for a while and now it's official--NBC has cut ties with the low-rated spy series from J.J. Abrams ("Lost"). "Undercovers" never had great writing which is what probably doomed the show because the two lead actors (Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw) had nice chemistry and are very pretty people.
The final three episodes will air the coming weeks, but if you're looking for some bad TV to fill in the DVR, NBC did give full season orders to "The Event" "Outsourced" and "Law & Order: Los Angeles."
If you're looking for some good TV to fill up your DVR, NBC ordered two more episodes of "Community." The Thursday night comedy about community college students who like to make pop culture references is one of the smartest and funniest shows on TV. Hopefully, this means the cancellation rumors that have surrounded "Community" lately will go away...at least for the rest of the 2010-11 season.
