Well, just after a leak of a red-band trailer which I still think may have been intentional, despite its removal we finally get a proper and glorious teaser for David Fincher's adaptation of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo."

Virtually identical to the red-band trailer minus a glimpse of nipple enjoy 1 minute and 40 seconds of rapid-fire teases from the movie, set to a Trent Reznor-fueled cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" with Karen O on vocals!

Fans of the wildly popular book trilogy and excellent Swedish film adaptation may be worried. Don't get me wrong, I loved the original. But Fincher is a top-notch director.

If his casting of relative unknown Rooney Mara (who played the girl who rejects Mark Zuckerberg in the opening scene of "The Social Network) as Lisbeth pays off, this could be better than the originals. Write it down.

"Dragon Tattoo" opens December 21.
