Miike Snow featuring Lykke Li - "Black Tin Box"

I've heard the name Miike Snow kicking around for a few years now, but not until this week did I realize that two of these three Swedes double as Bloodshy & Avant, the incredible production team behind Britney Spears' "Toxic" among other hits. Here they've joined with Lykke Li to create my favorite song of the week. Sophomore LP "Happy To You" is out March 27.

Chip Tha Ripper - "Out Here"

Lex Luger does it again, as does the man on the mic. I have been critical of Chip's mush mouth, but damn. His latest mixtape "Tell Ya Friends" is out now.

Andrew Bird - "Eyeoneye"

Eyeoneye by Andrew Bird

"Eyeoneye" is Bird at his most aggressive, which means the chamber pop propriety coexists with guitar rock that verges on "raging." His new "Break It Yourself" emerges March 6, and Bird plays the Southern Theatre with comedian Eugene Mirman on March 20.

The Men - "Open Your Heart"

When a grimy New York punk band with roots in DIY hardcore manages to grab NPR's attention without sacrificing one middle finger of antagonism, they just might be on to something. "Open Your Heart," the follow-up to last year's "Leave Home," is coming March 6 on the underground-adored Sacred Bones label.

Kirko Bangz - "Trill Young N----"

I finally caught on to lean-sippin' anthem "Drank In My Cup" last month. That standout track and this chilled-out follow-up are featured the H-town stud's new mixtape "Progression 2: A Young Texas Playa."

Blue Sky Black Death & Nacho Picasso - "Naked Lunch"

Per Tom Breihan, Nacho Picasso is Seattle's less hyperactive answer to Tyler, the Creator. Download the mixtape he did with Blue Sky Black Death, "Lord of the Fly," for more druggy tomfoolery.

Dustin Wong - "Liberal Christian Youth Ministry"

Dustin Wong, former purveyor of hipster-friendly screeching with Baltimore's Ponytail, chimes in with something incredible with this contribution to Deathbomb Arc's Digital Singles Series. Wong's new album "Dreams Say, View, Create, Shadow Leads" is out Feb. 21, though this gorgeous piece of music isn't on it.

Saint Etienne - "Tonight"

If you're the kind of person who remembers Saint Etienne, you're probably the kind of person who will love this effervescent comeback single. A new album is coming later in 2012.

Gangrene - "Vodka & Ayahuasca"

Gangrene is producer The Alchemist and rapper Oh No. Ayahuasca is a Central and South American hallucinogen. "Vodka & Ayahuasca," Gangrene's debut album, features this banging title track. You'll never have this much fun in the back of a U-Haul again.

Miracles of Modern Science - "Bon Joviver"

This gives internet gimmicks a good name. I don't care if it's a joke or not; it's a jam of the week!
