The Columbus rocker schedules his first concert since "The X Factor"

Josh Krajcik, the Columbus music mainstay who stormed to runner-up status in Fox's TV singing contest "The X Factor" last year, has been busy partnering with pros in Los Angeles and London to write and demo new songs, but he has yet to play a full-fledged concert since the show wrapped up in December. That will change June 8, when Krajcik performs at Newport Music Hall with openers The Wet Darlings. (This won't be the first time Krajcik and the Darlings have shared the Newport stage.)

Krajcik will be backed by his longtime Josk Krajcik Band sidemen Mitch Pinkston and Corey Gillen plus Eric French on second guitar. Expect to hear old Josh Krajcik Band material, songs he sang on "The X Factor" and even some new stuff.

The official announcement and ticket info is expected today. We'll update this post when that info comes out.

UPDATE: Tickets go on sale this Saturday, April 21 through Ticketmaster. Advance tickets cost $15; the price rises to $20 day of show.
