MC Lyte to speak and perform at OSU hip-hop conference

Ohio State University's second annual Hip Hop Literacies Conference is going down May 9-11 in various campus venues. This year's topic: "Globalization of Black Popular Culture." Among the featured keynote speakers is MC Lyte; the pioneering female rapper will discuss her experiences as a woman in hip-hop and will perform "a special hit medley performance" at the evening concert Friday, May 11 in Hitchcock Hall 131.
