Columbus metal band's sophomore album is out tomorrow; release party May 5

Struck By Lightning, the heaviest of the recent Bands to Watch, was relatively quiet over the winter as they recorded their sophomore LP, "True Predation," with Eric Cronstein at The Tone Shoppe. Now that's finished, and they're ready to roar again. The album drops tomorrow on Translation Loss records, and the band will perform it in full at the release party May 5 at Carabar.

To get your blood pumping for the festivities, preview two songs from "True Predation" at Brooklyn Vegan.
