Also coming to town: Liars, Rush, Counting Crows, Blind Pilot.

Passion Pit

If it's Monday, there must be new concert announcements afoot. Let's proceed!

Helium-powered synth-pop combo Passion Pit will return to LC Pavilion Nov. 3 in support of their upcoming sophomore LP "Gossamer," due out July 24 on Columbia. Tickets cost $27 advance, $29 day of show. They'll become available Saturday at 10 a.m.

Liars, one of the best art-damaged rock bands in the world, will play A&R Music Bar on July 28 in support of their upcoming album "WIXIW," due June 5 on Mute. I definitely did not see that one coming; would have pegged Liars as a Wexner Center band for sure. Good steal, PromoWest! Tickets cost $15 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

Prog-rock legends, punchlines, objectivists and inspirers-of-bromance Rush will rock Nationwide Arena on September 20. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $93, $73 and $48.

Counting Crows will flock to LC Pavilion on June 23 to remind us that Adam Duritz's dreads have persisted much longer than Jennifer Aniston's "Rachel cut." Tickets cost $35 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Blind Pilot will bring their meek, majestic folk-rock epics back to Newport Music Hall on July 31. Tickets cost $17 advance, $20 day of show starting Saturday at 10 a.m.

Lastly, the Santigold concert at the Newport has been moved from June 13 to June 28.
