The Columbus rapper unveils his latest video from "Hot Chicks and Lacrosse Sticks."

We selected Meechie Nelson for Alive's Bands to Watch issue in part because of his mastery of the timely music video. So of course he dropped this ode to his mom on Mother's Day. Visually, "Mamma Proud" toggles between a faux open mic night at Hilliard's KitamuCoffee with Columbus rockers Ranger Danger as his backing band and footage of Nelson serenading his mom with the song at our Bands to Watch showcase at Skully's. As always, FlickImage handled the filmmaking and Nelson and his buddy Kellz (no, not that Kells) made the beat.
