The Regrettes, Way Yes, Evan Oberla, Scrawl among the highlights.
The schedule for this year's ComFest has been posted at the festival's website. When you click on the "Performances" tab, no schedule loads up, which makes me think this isn't supposed to be public yet, but if you follow the link, there it is. (Hint: If you have trouble getting Saturday and Sunday to load, just change the "3" in the URL to "4" or "5.")
A few highlights:
Way Yes and The Regrettes will close out the Bozo (main) Stage on Saturday night, which sounds like an absolute blast.
Evan Oberla & Supafresh will headline Friday; not sure whether that's the same as Evan Oberla Project, which funked up 83 Gallery real good last weekend.
Scrawl plays the Offramp Stage at 9:30 p.m. on Friday.
Tim Easton and Two Cow Garage frontman Micah Schnabel will go back-to-back at the Solar Stage on Friday night.
The DewDroppers get some main stage love at 2:20 p.m. Sunday.
Hip-hop continues to be heavily under-represented, but Copywrite (8 p.m. Friday, Offramp Stage) and G Finesse & the N.S. (8 p.m. Saturday, Gazebo Stage) will hold it down. And I suppose Shrub (4:05 p.m. Sunday, Offramp Stage) features rapping too, though I wouldn't necessarily call it hip-hop.
