Downtown today? Keep an eye out for skin care line NIVEA's blue vehicles. They're patrolling Broad Street and Columbus Commons looking for people willing to honor National PDA Day. (Yup, a day devoted to making other people uncomfortable with your gratuitous touching is apparently a thing and is what I will be reminding myself of when people are getting all freaky deaky at tonight's Bootsy Collins concert.) Stop by the car, give your buddy a hug (or kiss or a playful booty slap!) and you will win some kind of NIVEA product prize or a gift card for a date. They'll be giving away prizes until 5 p.m. today. Just, you know, make sure it's a NIVEA representative in that blue car before you start making out in front of them.
