AMC Lennox and Rave Polaris will host screenings as part of a national event.

"Shut Up and Play the Hits," Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace's film about LCD Soundsystem's final show at Madison Square Garden, screens at theaters nationwide tonight for one night only. Two Columbus theaters are participating, with Rave Polaris 18 and AMC Lennox Town Center 24 showing the film at 7:30 p.m. The movie is brought to you by Oscilloscope Films, the production company founded by the late Adam "MCA" Yauch.

And if you're wondering what erstwhile LCD frontman James Murphy has been up to since that concert in April 2011, The New York Times recently published a profile detailing Murphy's plans to open up a storefront in Brooklyn. And for kicks, read my review of LCD Soundsystem's performance at LC Pavilion with Arcade Fire back in 2007.
