All of the sudden, everything is happening very quickly for this band.
Columbus schizoid pop duo Twenty One Pilots spent a big chunk of their summer recording in Los Angeles with producer Greg Wells (Weezer, All American Rejects, OneRepublic, Adele). The first fruits of those sessions are available today in the form of the "three songs" EP, which features re-recorded versions of old favorites "Guns For Hands" and "Ode to Sleep" plus a new song called "Migraine." Download it at iTunes or stream it via Spotify.
The band also plans to release their debut full-length of Fueled By Ramen, "Vessel," before the end of the year. And they're going on tour with Neon Trees and fellow Ohioans Walk the Moon starting August 5 at Cleveland's House of Blues. I have a feeling they'll be selling out LC-sized venues around the world here soon.
