Mumford & Sons at LC Pavilion's "festival setting" really is kind of like a festival

As explained in last week's story about Mumford mania, tonight's Mumford & Sons concert at LC Pavilion has been expanded from the 5,500-capacity amphitheatre into a 10,000-capacity "festival setting" in the parking lot behind the venue. Though there has been some backlash from fans who were looking for a more intimate experience (and grass instead of pavement), it seems like PromoWest is really turning the show into a mini-festival of sorts. Local mainstays Old Hundred plus Atlanta's Blair Crimmins & the Hookers will perform in the LC plaza starting at 6 p.m., while Envelope and DJ Detox take to A&R Music Bar at 7:15. By then, main stage opener Aaron Embry will be well underway, with Dawes (8:00) and Mumford (9:15) to follow.

Have a look at a map and a schedule below. And note that CD102.5's weekly $2 Twosdays event at nearby Park Street Patio will still be going strong with our ComFest cover models The Regrettes when the show lets out. Should be a fun night of both local and national music here in Columbus, Ohio.
