Huge batch of concert announcements for y'all, beginning with electro-pop soundbombers Sleigh Bells and MPC wiz kid AraabMuzik, who'll play the Newport together on Oct. 2. Tickets cost $22 advance, $25 day of, and are on sale now. Both acts absolutely throttled the Pitchfork Music Festival crowd last month, so this show should slay.

In quieter but no less momentous news, singer-songwriter Aimee Mann will headline the Capitol Theatre on Nov. 8. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $34 & $24.

Also on sale Friday at 10: Hasidic rapper Matisyahu plays Newport Music Hall on Nov. 7. Cost is $23 advance, $25 day of.

Are you ready for the jammy, virtuosic section of the concert announcements?

Trey Anastasio Band hits LC Pavilion on Oct. 20. Tickets cost $39.50 advance, $43 day of, starting Thursday at 10 a.m.

The following day, Oct. 21, moe. plays Newport Music Hall for the price of $20. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday.

Ohio natives Papadosio return to the LC on Dec. 21. Tickets cost $15 advance, $20 day of, and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.

Jon McLaughlin brings his guitar theatrics to The Basement on Oct. 13. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $12 advance, $14 day of.

One more way to kick it old-school hippie style: Gov't Mule plays LC Pavilion on Nov. 2. Tickets cost $22 advance, $25 day of, and go on sale

A bunch of off-Broadway productions going on sale this Thursday at 9 a.m., including "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" at the Palace ($75-$25), "Irving Berlin's White Christmas" at the Ohio ($77-$27), "War Horse" at the Ohio ($77-$32) and "Green Day's American Idiot" at the Palace ($75-$25).

Indie rock softies Sea Wolf descend on The Basement Oct. 14. Tickets are on sale now for $12.

Jazz pianist Robert Glasper hits the Lincoln Theatre Oct. 21. Tickets cost $29 & $24 starting 10 a.m. Friday.

Lastly, those thirsting for destruction will no doubt flock to Monster Jam Jan. 4-5 at Nationwide Arena. Those tickets are on sale now for $50, $25 and $18.
