Today's Columbus concert bombshell: Jack White will headline LC Pavilion's outdoor amphitheater on Monday, Oct. 8. Tickets cost $42.50 advance, starting Friday at 10 a.m.
In other concert news, The Tree Bar has a sweet double bill on Nov. 6 with rugged folkie Crooked Fingers and chamber pop master John Vanderslice. Tickets cost $15 and will be on sale at the bar, located at 887 Chambers Rd., starting Wednesday at 7 p.m.
