"Vessel" will be out Jan. 8 on Fueled By Ramen.

Columbus musical duo Twenty One Pilots, whose self-made rise we chronicled extensively last spring, has announced plans for their first hometown show since announcing their major-label record deal. The band will play LC Pavilion on Oct. 19; tickets go on sale Sept. 8. Openers will be announced soon.

Meanwhile, their Fueled By Ramen debut album, "Vessel," is coming out Jan. 8. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Greg Wells (Adele, Katy Perry, Weezer, Kid Cudi, Pharrell, Deftones). The lead single, "Holding On To You," will be released Sept. 11.
