I couldn't include this in our meatless dining guide due to timing issues, but definitely wanted to get the word out about this kick-ass vegan event.
Angry Baker is hosting a BYOB five-course vegan dinner at 6 p.m. Dec. 4. The cost might be a little steep ($55/person), but the quality of food that typically comes out of AB and the lineup of food options this night promises something memorable. You can download a PDF of the menu at theangrybakerote.com. This is the first themed monthly dinner Angry Baker has planned. Not all will be vegan. Attendance is limited to the first 20 to sign up. I also got a chance to chow down at Explorers Club last night, the second night their new vegan/vegetarian menu (for the month of November only) was available. If you haven't had a chance, I'd highly recommend the sweet potato fritters, the spaghetti and meatballs (mostly the meatballs) and any of the desserts. The rest of the food I tried was good, but those were definitely the highlights.
