1) Check out the new Fringe. Fringe Outfitters opened its brick-and-mortar store in the Short North at 1177 N. High St. last month. It is a must-stop for people looking for well-crafted, one-of-a-kind T-shirts (it sells men’s and women’s) and accessories with a local angle.
2) Look at a local Lily on Lucky. And say that 10 times fast. Lily Schlosser is a local gal (I met her while writing about The Nest in Upper Arlington where she works as a stylist) whose sweet styling tips you can catch on her blog Lucky Star. She was recently featured in a Lucky Magazine post about dressing for the weekend. Cute.
3) Shop for Sandy victims. Elle magazine has rounded up a list of luxury brands that are offering proceeds of this weekend’s sales to the Red Cross and other Superstorm Sandy relief efforts. One of the entries: “Like” the Lord & Taylor Facebook page now through Christmas and the brand will donate $1 per “Like” to the New York Red Cross.
