Send holiday greeting cards. Might we suggest these amazing five-by-seven-inch cards from Igloo Letterpress that are part of a holiday line designed by Blake Roberts, who is the Worthington shop’s intern-turned-shop employee. To make the above design, Roberts photographed hand-cut paper silhouettes he’d drawn of the town’s architectural attractions.
Shop for one-of-a-kind clothing. Speaking of CCAD, an honor’s retail class from the college is hosting a pop-up clothing store this weekend at Beaton Gallery on campus. Student designers will be selling clothing and accessories, such as leather- and stud-clad jean vests, bowties, screen printed T-shirts at One. All of the sale proceeds go to the designers. Check it out 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10.
Shop for one-of-a-kind jewelry. Meredith Piccin is one of my favorite local jewelry designers. Her line, Honey Rose & K, is approachable but luxurious, playful but high-end. She’ll be at Rowe for a holiday trunk show from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8. Check out the special pieces from her collaboration with artist Christa Prati of Appolonia Dominic.
