Three notable tours coming to Columbus:

In the words of Alive web guy/film critic Brad Keefe: "Gentlemen, brace your ladies for this news." Irrepressable hip-hop weirdo Kool Keith will play Ace of Cups on Feb. 14, also known as Valentine's Day. Columbus big homey PATH opens for good old Dr. Octagon. I don't have ticket price info at the moment, but trust that V-Day is about to get freaky.

Five days later, resurgent nasal Def Jux refugee Aesop Rock (not to be confused with surgent-for-the-first-time A$AP Rocky) will headline A&R Music Bar. Along for the ride will be Rob Sonic, DJ Big Wiz and Busdriver. Tickets are $18 advance, $20 day of show, and you can get 'em now.

Lastly, Scandanavian post-punk's grown-up demon children Iceage will reprise their 2011 Carabar visit with an April 11 stop at Ace of Cups. No word yet on openers or ticket price for that one either, but I can tell you their sophomore LP You're Nothing is coming Feb. 19 on Matador, and you can hear some music from it here. (UPDATE: Just kidding, tickets are $7 each.)
