Saintseneca has long been one of my favorite Columbus bands — since back when they were four scrawny kids playing under a bridge. The lineup has changed a lot since the release of 2011's incredible debut LP, Last, but even if Zac Little is the only common thread, he's managed to keep the same spirit about the harmonious neo-folkies as they've traveled the country and made a name for themselves in DIY circles. For proof, look no further than the above footage of the band playing new music at Cleveland recording studio Bad Racket. There's a good chance these tunes will have you thirsting for more Saintseneca music, and lucky you, the band is part of a super-solid matinee bill Saturday at Kobo with visitors Empire! Empire! and The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die.
