Chief Keef, the ultra-controversial teenage gangster rap star, will be out of prison and on stage at Newport Music Hall by Friday, March 22. Tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m., and what a sensitive and romantic Valentine's Day gift they would be! Price is $30 ($38.60 after fees).
Also pretty big news: Of Monsters and Men, the post-Arcade Fire, post-Mumford, post-Edward Sharpe indie-folk-rock hyphenate powerhouse, will be back at LC Pavilion on Wednesday, May 29. Memphis rapper Yo Gotti, who stops through Columbus quite frequently, will stop through again Friday, March 8 at Long Street Entertainment Complex. Tickets will set you back anywhere from $25 to $50 plus fees; get 'em starting 10 a.m. Wednesday.
