Although I wasn't too fond of the archival Postal Service track that premiered last week, and I'm not sure I understand what the Ben Gibbard/Jimmy Tamborello project would be like in concert, I can't block the shine of Give Up gems like "Such Great Heights" and "The District Sleeps Alone Tonight." So I'm still at least a little excited to pass on Pitchfork's report of additional tour dates including a June 8 stop at LC Pavilion's outdoor stage. The electro-indie-pop duo is touring with an ensemble including Rilo Kiley singer Jenny Lewis (who, you may recall, contributed vocals to the album) and Laura Burhenn of Mynabirds and Bright Eyes. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for the price of $35 ($42.50 with fees).
P.S. Hey, here's a 10-year-old live performance clip from Seattle's KEXP.
